Bishkek, May 9. The Organization for Security and Cooperation In Europe (OSCE) will allocate about 300,000 euros to its Bishkek Academy in 2003. According to the Kyrgyz Ambassador to OSCE, Alikbek Jekshenkulov, an additional 1,053,000 euros will be allocated to the educational institution in Bishkek by the end of 2004. On May 6 this year, the OSCE held a presentation of the approved draft program on the development of the OSCE's Bishkek Academy. Jekshenkulov told RFE/RL that the Kyrgyz government's initiative was proposed during a meeting of the OSCE's Permanent Council in February 2002.
